SECURITEX-VIKING-K-1900-7-PHONE (HOTLINE PHONE) Industrial Application
The Securitex-Viking-K-1900-7 PHONE is made
in USA by Viking. The K-1900-7 panel phone will auto-dial a 1-32 digit
programmable phone number each time the handset is lifted. The unit will
touch tone or pulse dial
and will not auto-dial on incoming calls.
The K-1900-7 housing consists of a heavy gauge stainless steel panel, an
armored cable, a heavy duty handset, and an all metal cradle. The
K-1900-7 can be easily touch tone programmed at the shop or installation
site. All programming is stored in non-volatile memory.
The K-1900-7-EWP shares all of the features of the K-1900-7 in addition
to Enhanced Weather Protection (EWP) for outdoor installations where the
unit is exposed to precipitation or condensation. EWP products feature
foam rubber gaskets and boots, sealed connections, gel-filled butt
connectors, as well as urethane or thermal plastic potted circuit boards
with internally sealed, field-adjustable trim pots and DIP switches for
easy onsite programming. For more information, see DOD# 859. Note: If a
ringer is required, use an external unit such as the Viking SR-1 (DOD#
477).

Application area
These phone is design for use in emergency situation
where the user need to call for help or usually they need to receive
emergency incoming call from 3rd party facilities. Usually this phone are install in fire
command centre or oil and gas industries control room. Military guard
office. Un-man police self service kiosk. Airport hall.
highway, Hospital Emergency Room etc where the
user or operation staff when in emergency need to contact another party for
assistant, the caller just need to lift up the handset and the
K-1900-7 PHONE will dial the pre-programmed phone of the other party
(Receiver). This K-1900-7 phone can be supply without the
incoming ringer so this phone will only be use as outgoing call.
However if incoming signal is needed, an external ringer can be installed. These
K-1900-7 PHONE or HOTLINE PHONE or
EMERGENCY PHONE are design for indoor and outdoor application and is powered
from the PSTN line, if the phone is needed to be install outdoor
additional Enclosure like the VE-5X10 surface mount box can be
incorporated.

situation where there are many Hotline phone in a control room and the
user or operator need to know which Hotline phone is ringing.

the control room to know which Hotline phone is ringing and exactly what
time and when the Hotline phone is pick up and when the Hotline phone is
hang up.

with 3rd party line conversation recording service.

The K-1900-7 Series of
Hot-Line phones are programmable to dial a 1-32
digit telephone number each time the phones handset is lifted.
The products may be programmed to Touch Tone or pulse dial and
will not dial on incoming calls. (if you need the phone to
ring on incoming please specify when ordering)
The K-1900 Series phones are available in a desk or wall
chassis, as well as in a vandal resistant panel phone
configuration. A network insert dialer is also available, to
convert standard phones into hot-line phones.
