SECURITEX BUS CAPTAIN and Passenger COMMUNICATOR BI-820-IB

Securitex Bus Captain and Passenger Communicator System BI-820-IB is designed to facilitate communication between bus driver and the passenger where there is physical vandal proof Plexiglass partition between them. The system is design for duplex communication yet it can be controlled individually. The system is also design for easy installation on this partition panel by using 3M double-sided tape. To ensure the Sub Unit "Passenger MIC and Speaker unit" (Speaker and Microphone cable) not exposed a Chrome tube is provided on the cable to conceal these cable. The Master Station c/w weight down plate inside the base unit to ensure stability when place on the bus dash board it can be secured using bolt & nut or 3M double side tape or VELCRO Tape. The very high quality electronic circuitry is house in a robust enclosure to ensure that even in the most noisy environment there is no interference when communication. In the most silent environment the system do not produce noise when in standby mode.

High quality finishes with all control and input output neatly on one side.

BI-820-IB system consist of.

·         Master Station (Model: BI-820MS)

·         Substation (Model: BI-820SS) microphone and speaker uses a single cable aluminum shielded to prevent external interference and also the cable are protected by a steel chrome rod to prevent accidental damage to the cable as the Substation is on the public area.

·         12VDC 300mA extremely high quality and stable power adapter to ensure noise interference is cut to zero.

a.        Install the master station on the driver cabin where the driver can easily speak to the passenger from the goose neck microphone. The speaker unit on the master station ensure that the bus driver can hear the passenger when they speak.

b.        Install the sub-station on the outside of the Plexiglass and the cable pass through the glass / Acrylic and Insert the substation jack into the master station (Jack 5 for Sub-station)

c.        Insert the 12VDC transformer into the power jack (7)

d.        Press the power switch of the master station (2) ON, the power LED (1) will light up.

The system is designed with automatic 2-way hands free communication c/w individual volume control for both the master and the sub-station. Adjust knob (3) & (4) to level 4 or 5 will have the best clear communication. Knob (3) is master station Volume Control. Knob (4) is sub-station volume control.   

The BI-820-IB is designed and built specially for communication between the bus driver sitting in the driver cabin and the passenger. This system c/w built in vehicle surge protection system shown on FIGURE 1
